From China comes bamboo window shades in Venetian blind style and called bamboo window shutters. The word ‘Shutters’ translates into Chinese as “window for breathing”. These bamboo window shades are made of bamboo and also base wood and hemlock – the bamboo components in these shades have been especially selected for quality – bamboo shades will look good in the home, in an office, in fact in any window.
There are also hand-woven bamboo window shades – made of bamboo and wood with or without a backing cloth.
